Keep Brownwood Beautiful supports local litter prevention and cleanup efforts.  KBB sponsors the annual Don’t Mess with Texas Trash Off in April, which is a city-wide cleanup effort.  KBB works with the TxDOT to recruit groups to adopt sections of the state highways that run through Brown County.

 

The City of Brownwood and KBB support neighborhood cleanups.  Large dumpsters and garbage bags can be provided for a day at no cost to assist neighborhood cleanups.

 

KBB also works with the City to ensure that code and ordinances are actively enforced.  The Litter Prevention and Cleanup committee reviews the local ordinances and makes recommendations for needed changes.
