COMPOSTING

What is Compost?

Compost is a form of partially decomposed organic matter similar in nature to the organic matter in the soil.  It is a humus rich material that results from composting.

KBB, along with the City of Brownwood's Sanitation Department, has put together a home compost demonstration site.  This is located on FM 45 next to  the Recycling Center.  It is open for the public.
