You might not have known that KBB's funding comes from the optional dollar donation that is billed on the city's monthly water bill. Additional funding includes grants, memorials, and individual and business donations. In-kind services from various organizations and businesses contribute to KBB's funding, and we receive funding from the City of Brownwood on an annual basis contingent upon approval from the City Council. Let your neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers know about the $1 donation, and it will add up. As a matter of fact, for every dollar the KBB receives, we do eighteen dollars worth of work for the city.
