Litter Free Events

KBB is active in promoting education on litter prevention.  We offer a program called Litter Free Events.

Objective:

  ·   To leave public events and places free of litter

  ·   Empower citizens to take responsibility

 Main Goals:

  ·   Promote the expectation for litter-free activities

  ·   Provide adequate trash receptacles and disposal for public events

  ·   Distribute litterbags to participants

 Benefits: 

  ·   Change individual behavior and attitudes toward littering

  ·   Reduce cleanup costs

 Rewards:

  ·   People see that: “Together, we can do this, if individuals do their part!“

  ·   Cleaner community

 Role of KBB: 

  ·   KBB acts as a catalyst to “make it happen” by securing support

  ·   Provide litterbags for event participants

  ·   Provide litter-free event banner
