Youth Grants

 

Keep Brownwood Beautiful (KBB) is a non-profit, volunteer, citizen organization.  KBB’s mission is to empower the citizens of Brownwood through education and participation to take responsibility for their community environment.

Four times a year, KBB will award grants for projects that educate and foster stewardship pf the local environment.

WHO:  The grant will be given to an adult sponsored youth group with 5 or more participants.

WHAT:  up to in $250 grant money

WHERE:  Within the city limits of Brownwood

WHEN:  Application deadlines none.  Submit and the your request will be reviewed at next board meeting.                        

WHY:  Projects shall reflect one or more of the following KBB goals:

1.     Litter Prevention

2.     Beautification/Community Improvement

3.     Waste Reduction/Resource Conservation

4.     Environmental Education

OTHER:  A brief Project Report is required within 10 days of the project completion.  The report must include:

1.     Before and after photos of the project

2.     A brief description of the project

3.     What was learned

4.     A sign in sheet listing all participants and their grade level
